An Introduction to Acrylic Charm Keychains

Looking for a lightweight keychain option, or perhaps something that works well with non-enamel-friendly artwork? We got you!

These colorful acrylic charms have been a real hit! Acrylic charms consist of one layer of acrylic board with an epoxy covered picture on top (or bottom if you prefer acrylic layer on the front and epoxy on the back), or two layers of board with the image sandwiched in the middle. The image itself can be one-sided or two-sided.

The most common method is double-sided and double-plate printing. The image can be opaque or translucent, and the acrylic can have one of several holographic glitter effects. We can even make glitter epoxy on single plate ones! Hardware comes in several varieties, including the popular heart and star here shaped rings. Most people go for a light background, but you can go white too!

Acrylic charms are great for art that may include small details, gradients, shadows, textures, or other elements that don't work well on enamel pins. We can use vector or raster files! For best results, we recommend working with a nice large file size with high resolution - aim for 300 dpi and twice the size of the finished keychain like candy charms. Most file types are fine, including png (better if you need light areas), jpeg, psd, vector ai or pdf, etc. All art will be converted to cmyk for printing.

If you want to keep an area like clear plastic, please make it clear in your artwork. If you want to use a translucent color, make sure it is on its own layer, or if you are submitting a vector file, please let us know what color you want to be translucent.
